Reporting principles
Bladetracker captures detailed images of turbine blades and does this while the turbine is in operation. The first part of the survey is the pressure side of the turbine (PS) for all 3 blades. The second part is the suction side (SS) for all 3 blades. (*)Any damage on the blade is labeled in one of the following classes:
At the end of the inspection, any damages (on both sides) are presented in the following manner. The position is related to the radius of the rotor:
Deliverables
Upon finalising the blade inspection, two deliverables are handed over:
1. High quality JPG images are shared with the client through a download link. RAW images can be made available upon request.
2. A report with an overview of all the anomalies that have been discovered during the inspection. It contains a selection of the total amount of images produced. Non conformities during the inspection (if any) will be reported.
(*) Unless only a leading edge inspection is required.
